Make Connections. Learn to Lead.

The University of California Summer Institute for Emerging Managers and Leaders is an all-expenses-paid, career-building fellowship for first year students from historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and Hispanic-serving institutions (HSIs).

As a participant in the program, you'll spend two weeks over two consecutive summers learning from world-class educators at the University of California's graduate business schools. You'll meet one-on-one with CEOs, CFOs and other industry leaders in some of the country's most thriving hubs for enterprise and innovation. You'll participate in dynamic, hands-on workshops that will immerse you in principles of business development and entrepreneurship, and help you build analytical, technical and management expertise. You'll gain exposure to opportunities for internships, for career development, and for continuing on to pursue a master's degree in business. And you'll make valuable connections with your program peers, some of the country's best and brightest students.

In short, you'll get a running start on your future.
