Participating Campuses

Make Connections. Learn to Lead.

The University of California Summer Institute for Emerging Managers and Leaders (SIEML) is an all-expenses-paid 11-day immersive business leadership experience for students currently enrolled at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs).  Students from all fields of study are encouraged to apply, but must have an interest in developing their leadership and professional skills, and should have an interest in attending a graduate business program.

As a participant in the program, you will learn from world-class educators from the six University of California graduate schools of business, meet industry leaders from throughout California - one of the country's most thriving hubs for enterprise and innovation, participate in dynamic hands-on workshops that will immerse you in principles of business and entrepreneurship, build analytical, technical and management skills, and gain opportunities and insight to pursue a graduate degree in business.

In short, you'll get a running start on your future.
